D-Aspartic Acid - increase strength and muscle gains
18-10-2011
D-Aspartic acid is a non essential amino acid that is involved in both the synthesis and regulation of hormone release. It has attracted the attention of the bodybuilding community as a contributor to the building of strength and muscle via improvement in both testosterone and GH production.
The "D" form of Aspartic Acid stimulates pituitary gland to produce both luteinizing hormone (the precursor to testosterone in males) - and GH hormone in the body. Both testosterone and GH have a pronounced effect on the vigour and health of the body and in turn encourage both improvement in strength and subsequent muscle gain.
There are other important roles played by D-Aspartic Acid, including reduction of excess ammonia in the body - particularly in the nervous system and the liver. It is a component involved in the development of the nervous system, via the transmission of nerve impulses between nerve cells, thereby supporting normal nervous system function.
